In Memory of JR
This page is dedicated to the memory of the late Jonathan Hunter Reynolds, also known by his friends as JR.
Jonathan was born on 1st March 1980 in Belfast and started his life in Ballinamallard County Fermanagh, before moving to Lisburn where he attended Harmony Hill Primary School. He went on to Wallace High School in Lisburn where he completed his A-Levels.
Jonathan took a great interest in finance from a young age, following in his father’s footsteps who was a bank manager, managing several branches of a well-known bank.
After finishing his A-Levels, Jonathan went to Queens University Belfast to study Economics. He graduated with a Second-class Honours degree in 2001.
Jonathan started Complete Mortgage Solutions NI shortly after graduating from Queens. It was a very challenging time just before the financial crisis in 2008.
Jonathan’s focus, determination and dedication came to the fore when the financial crisis began. Despite this, the business went from strength to strength and continued to grow.
Not only did Jonathan continue to grow Complete Mortgage Solutions NI he made the decision to start his own property portfolio in 2006. Jonathan was a genius when it came to any sort of finance and wasn’t shy about taking risks. Jonathan’s property portfolio of Buy-to-lets continued to grow and included a Holiday Let in the popular North Coast Area with his brother Neil.
A loving father who was only truly happy when surrounded by his 3 beautiful children; Gracie, Ellie and Sophie.
JR very sadly passed away in December 2024 and is dearly missed by all his family, wide circle of friends, work colleagues and clients.
Jonathan’s brother Neil is the Executor and Trustee of his estate and Complete Mortgage Solutions NI is now in Neil’s very capable hands. Neil, as director will continue to grow Complete Mortgage Solutions NI, making JR proud, knowing Jonathan is always with him, in all the difficult challenges that are ahead.
Both Neil and Leah are looking forward to Gracie, Ellie and Sophie following in their father’s footsteps, when the time is right and they wish to do so.
